Mascotas

In handling pets there are two methods of transportation:

1. Pets transported in the passenger cabin

2. Pets transported in the cargo compartment

Only cats and dogs are accepted.

Transported pets must travel in an approved kennel or container. Cats and small dogs can travel in the aircraft cabin in a soft container approved for such transportation. All other pets (small‚ medium‚ and large) must travel in the cargo compartment in a rigid or approved plastic container that measures up to 100 "(40") long x 60cm (24 ") wide x 60cm (24") tall.

You will be required to present current veterinary certificates for your pet traveling with you at the time of check-in.

Pets traveling in the passenger cabin must not weigh more than 5 kilograms. For pets weighing 6 to 12 kilograms‚ passengers will have the option to pay for additional space equivalent to the price of a seat at the current fare.

Only one pet per passenger and per container is accepted.

Pets must be presented in hygienic conditions for acceptance.

Pets must not be undergoing medical treatment during the period of their trip.

The passenger must sign the form designated by Cabo Flight Center for the transportation of animals and Cabo Flight Center's responsibility will be limited solely to the transportation of the pet. Any disorder or damage‚ both to the pet and to third parties‚ must be covered by the passenger.

For emotional support animals‚ the passenger must present a medical certificate from a mental health specialist and comply with the requirements for transporting animals in the passenger cabin. The emotional support animal must not weigh more than 5 kilograms to be accepted in the passenger cabin. For animals weighing 6 to 12 kilograms‚ passengers will have the option to pay for additional space equivalent to the price of a seat at the current fare.

Pets that do not meet the requirements for travel in the cabin may travel in the cargo compartment in a rigid container.

The applicable pet fee is: $ 1160.00 MXP taxes included (cats and dogs only)
